Dyson, the consumer hardware company wanted a complete fit out and reconfiguration of their three storey building on Ives Street in London, to provide consumer hardware marketing offices and a showroom for the company.
The JAS Works approach
The entire project consisted of two phases. Phase one represented the theme and concepts for design and phase two embodied the creation and construction of the project. We coordinated the removal of a brick facade and installation of a new 30 sq metre glass facade to set the tone for the rest of the building, introducing natural light to compliment and fulfil the showrooms’ dynamic aesthetic appeal. We also designed and built a mezzanine floor as an intermediate between the main floors of the building creating an open plan environment maximising the feeling of light and space.
Project Completion
We created a modern image to fit their business concept. As soon as they moved in, Dyson noticed a dramatic increase in business productivity, and a big improvement in staff morale. They have put it down to the dynamic design of their new workspace.
